To define Daniel Spoerri (Galati, 1930) two coordinates would be enough: already at the dawn of the Sixties he has been acquired by the MOMA in New York, while in 1990 the Center Pompidou in Paris dedicated him a large retrospective. However, Spoerri remains a difficult figure to be pigeonholed: he was a dancer, a choreographer, a playwright, a restaurateur, a gallery owner, as well as the artist inventor of the Eat Art and of the famous Snare-picture.
