Luca Marziale works in abstract micro-landscapes, focusing in on the natural elements and organisms found in extreme environments. His photographs reveal unique patterns and textures by eliminating recognizable points of reference, creating an otherworldly experience for the viewer. Working with the medium format Hasselblad camera, he creates large scale darkroom C - Type prints. Each work is configured in both 30 x 30 and 45 x 45 Inch formats. He has participated in numerous important solo and group exhibitions including; SCOPE (Basel), SCOPE (Miami), The Other Art Fair (London) and CONTEXT (New York City). He is a BFA graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Luca Marziale was born in Lugano, Switzerland and currently lives and works in London.
