Paolo Ceribelli

Paolo Ceribelli

Paolo Ceribelli was born in Milan in 1998.

He started as a self-taught. His artistic career begins with a series of works in which he carries on a stylization of daily actions, first he engages in oil technique and plaster sculpture.

In 1998 he presented a solo exhibition in which he collected his first creations. In 1999, together with a group of writers and some non-profit associations, he undertook photographic work on mural art in abandoned industrial areas. The mural experience will lead him to discover new materials such as stucco and silicone that will dominate in his following works, in 2000 gives life to three abstract projects: "Stains of Life", "Attract the Gaze" and "Furrows Materici", the latter consisting of extensive use of acrylic and silicone colors and will be exhibited in two exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

In 2002 he launched Superm-Art in which he wants to express his daily gestures and their repetitiveness through the use of an extremely material technique, mixed with the presence of advertising material combined with acrylic painting.
In 2006 there is a creative shift in his artistic path that takes a precise direction, begins to experiment with new techniques and to express different themes. His paintings are animated by a multitude of small objects such as soldiers, tanks.
In 2016 he presented the installation Barricades composed of 12 anti-tank barricades in several public events, where he began to investigate the concept of limit.
Today its stylistic signature is and remains the plastic toy soldier.
