Pierluigi Pusole was born in 1963 in Turin, where he lives and works. He began exhibiting in 1986 and since then he partecipated in important collective exhibitions, such as Il Cangiante, 1987; Opened 1990 at the Venice Biennale; Nineties, 1991; Twelve Italian Painters, 1995; Changing of Guard, 1996; Last Generations, 1996; Anthology, 1996. He has established himself as one of the most original and mature voices of the new Italian painting, now ironic, light and light, yet always engaged in a dialectical confrontation with the new means of image production.
