Studio d'arte Raffaelli

Studio d'arte Raffaelli

Trento, Italia

Studio d’Arte Raffaelli began its expositional activity in 1984, primarily following the line of painting in its most contemporary aspects.

The gallery displays several of the biggest Italian, European and American artists of the last twenty years, annually shows the work of young artists and participates in the most important fairs.

In 1991 the Studio approached African Contemporary Art, exhibiting the artist Chéri Samba for the first time in Italy. It continues its search into South African artists, for whom it was the curator of the International Art Biennal in Rocca di Castagnoli (SI) in 2007.

Each exhibition is conceived together with the artist and with a catalogue published for the occasion. Giordano Raffaelli has initiated cultural relationships with important international entities: the Art Museum of Wolfsburg, the Tate Modern of Liverpool, Iwalewa-Haus in Bayreuth, the Nationa Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of the Republic of San Marino, MACI in Isernia, GAM in Bergamo and Bologna, MACUF in La Coruna, IMMA in Dublin.
