Olha Snydanko - is an Ukrainian / Swiss artist living and working in Geneva, Switzerland.
Snydanko's passion for the painting and the creation begins in her childhood. Naturally, she began studying art in classes and private schools where she found the full support and encouragement of her teachers. In 1996, she was graduated from College of Decorative and Applied Arts in Lviv, Ukraine, named after the famous Ukrainian painter Ivan Trush. In 2000, Olha Snydanko was graduated from the Academy of Arts in Lviv, Ukraine.
Then she moved to Geneva where the painter's work continued. During the recent years, she has exhibited in Ukraine, Poland, France and Switzerland. Olha Snydanko is a particular name among the contemporary painters. Her works, realised in an expressive and emotional style, allows us to follow the author's gaze and marvel at the beauty of the world and transmits the author's positive energy.
Olha Snydanko's work is influenced by two artistic styles bordering the abstract and the figurative. It does not give a physical reality ; it collects a climate, a state of mind, an emotion, which emerges. Her paintings are the associations of the lived experiences and the imaginative prototypes. Snydanko's paintings never reveal all of their secrets at the first glance. It is only after a few moments of observation that the images appears in the relief of the canvas. In fact, often the titles play the part of the reveal, giving a way to see the image. Attention is first transferred to the pleasure of the tons, the colors and the precision of the painter's work.
In Snydanko's work the color is exploited and celebrated without rules and conventions but with passion. It reaffirms the richness of the possibilities of painting, which is particularly able to translate a multitude and a variety of the points of view.
